Norths Junior Girls Registration 2026

Season Registration is now closed for U10/ U14G/ JG Grass teams as these teams are now full.  

Welcome to Season 2026! We are very excited to welcome both returning and new players to our club.

REGISTRATION

Registration is a two step process
1. Registration with Norths Hockey Club- https://www.northshockey.org.au/junior-girls-season-2026 (or press "More Info" below)
2. Registration with Hockey Qld- https://www.revolutionise.com.au/northernsubhc/registration/

Registration with Hockey Qld provides insurance and MUST be completed before commencing any training or preseason. Full payment of club fees must be received before the first game.

**Note: Players wishing to play seniors will need to register with the senior club separately. A joint senior & junior registration is not offered in 2026.
***Note: Players new to turf trialling for 12T1 should pay grass fees and those selected will be issued with an invoice for the balance of the turf fees

REGISTRATION CATEGORIES

Junior Turf
-Turf hockey is played in 3 age groups- U12, U14 and Juniors (U18)
-Training is held 2x per week at Dorrington Park Ashgrove and/ or at Burringbah Park Chermside
-Games are Friday night (u14T1, Juniors) or Saturday am (U12T, U14T2)
-Games are at various locations around Brisbane on a rotational basis (Chermside, Morningside, Carina, St Lucia and Redcliffe)
-Internal Development sessions (included in fees) are held across the season on Sunday afternoon (optional)
-Games commence in March

Junior Grass
-Grass hockey is played in 4 aged groups- U10, U12, U14 and Juniors (U18)
-Training is Wednesday night at Dorrington Park, Ashgrove
-Games are Saturday morning at Downey Park, Herston
-Internal development sessions (included in fees) are typically held during training times
-Selection trials are held (if numbers require) from U12 and above
-U10 teams are grouped based on experience
-Games commence in late March/ early April (TBA)

U7/9 Rookie Hockey
-Rookie Hockey is played in U7 and U9 age groups
-U7 is played on a 1/4 field with 7 players
-U9 is played on a half field with 9 players
-Training is Wednesday night at Dorrington Park, Ashgrove
-Games are Saturday morning at Rasey Park, Herston
-Teams are allocated based on friendship requests (as much as possible)
-Games commence in late March/ early April (TBA)


UNIFORMS
From 2026, Playing Shirts will be provided as a team kit (issued at the beginning of the season and returned at the end). Players will be required to purchase a skort/ shorts and socks. More information to be provided in early February.
