The 2026 Junior Turf Finals Series is fast approaching, and we’d like to provide clubs with some important information ahead of the end of the season.

Finals Format

The finals structure for each competition is outlined in the attached document.

This season:

·                     12T, 14T2, 14T1 and JT1, will play a top 5 Finals Series

·                     JT2, JT3 and JT4 will play a top 4 Finals Series

·                     All drawn finals matches will be decided by a shoot-out (12T-JT1).

·                     Bronze Medal Matches will be played in 12T and 14T2.

Finals Draw

The finals draw will be released on the Monday following the completion of the regular season. Each subsequent week’s finals fixtures will be published by 2:00pm on the Monday preceding the scheduled matches.

All finals fixtures will be published directly in Altius.

JUNIOR GRASS Finals Format

The finals structure for each competition is outlined in the attached document.

This season:

• 10A, 10B, 14G and JG will play a top 4 finals series
• 12A and 12B will play a top 5 finals series
• All drawn finals matches will be decided by a shoot-out (U10-JG).
• Bronze Medal Matches will be played in all Junior Grass competitions (U10 - JG).

Coaches on the Field

As we approach the finals, we’d like to remind all clubs of the rules regarding coaches on the field.

• 10A & 10B: Coaches are permitted on the field up to and including the final regular season fixtures on Saturday 15 August. From the commencement of the finals on Saturday 22 August, coaches are not permitted on the field during the game.
• 12B: Coaches were only permitted on the field during the first round of the season. This allowance has now concluded, and coaches are not permitted on the field during any finals matches.

U7 & U9 Superhero End of Season Celebration

The U7 & U9 Superhero Round will be held on Saturday, 22 August. This will be a normal round of fixtures, which have been published in Altius, with a fun superhero dress-up theme to celebrate the end of the season. We look forward to seeing everyone dressed as their favourite superhero!

Finals Draw

The finals draw will be released on the Monday following the completion of the regular season. Depending on the division, this will occur on Monday, 17 August or Monday, 24 August. Each subsequent week’s finals fixtures will be published by 2:00pm on the Monday preceding the scheduled matches.

All finals fixtures will be published directly in Altius.

Times for Saturday Junior Grass Fixtures are as follows: 

Season Registration is now closed for U10/ U14/ JG Grass teams as these teams are now full.  

Norths Junior Girls are welcoming new players in all grass and turf divisions.  Registration will open early January before the official sign on day in early February.
